A Little Bit of Hand Quilting

   Great stitching and composition. I love the crossing over of the quilting and painting and the pink/yellow/brown colour combo is quite striking.

   i really like the machine stitching against the hand stitching. nice idea. i really have to try using a machine one of these days, everything i do takes sooooo long... your paintings are wonderful, loving the 3d one, the gate.... and Clog, what a great name for a blog! tks for the mention :-)

   Hi Helle, Thanks :-) The composition was a bit of an accident as I just kept adding to it all until it looked right LOL. I like painting because it is like an instant gratification, colour whipped up on the palette then used immediately... unlike dyeing fabric.

   I think the gate is my favourite too :-) I think a machine is worth playing with even just to explore and play.

   Thanks Jade. I've been attempting to put together another piece this week. Unsuccessfully... But I'm now sequestered in my workroom and spend a couple of hours trying to sort it all out.

    My hand quilting can only be described as 'beginner' but I'm happy to put it all out there LOL
