Nothing Profound

   Beware this strange, vaguely creative, aimless feeling. It is about turning 30. I had exactly the same experience. And then promptly fell pregnant.

   Hi Shula. Well children is one of the things on my mind, travel (ie the travel I have not done) is on my mind, and homemaking is on my mind (cooking, cleaning, decorating etc), my engineering career is on my mind... Perhaps all this is crowding out everything else. Perhaps it is the begining of an early mid life crisis?? Perhaps I should get off the computer and get myself to work LOL.

   Scrumptious! just keep making, everyday. I am feeling the lag too but am trying to work through it.

   Thanks for the lovely mention ! I am on my way to 45 (and in shock !) but having a really good time, it gets easier once you hit 40 I don't know why - more carefree I think - I just look at Louise Bourgeois - still prolific in her 90's.

   Nearly everyone I have spoken to has had similar feelings regarding turning 30. For some reason it is a difficult milestone.
