Those beautiful roses are just what I need on our wintry day, a reminder of summer. I hope it cools down a bit for you. Great links here. All these fibre arts blogs, including yours, are inspiring and tempt me sorely. I wish I had time to get back to this kind of work, but there are only so many hours and I must continue my main passion of printmaking. Keep up your fabulous creative work, Claire - it's such an opposite and a balance to your career, I can imagine.

Hi Marja-Leena, It has cooled down and I got some much needed sleep last night :-) I'm the worst at getting totally distracted by all the possible things I could be doing out there. I'd love to be printmaking and painting too. But you are so right, there ARE only so many hours in the day :-) Cheers Claire

As a florist, I really appreciate seeing your gorgeous garden roses at this time of year, when ours are sleeping under a blanket of snow. Michele sent me.

Thanks for dropping by Kenju :-) I've been having a bumper summer crop here in our drought affected area. I never water them, but they produce nonep the less.

Thanks David. They didn't last long in the vase, but looked good while they were there :-) Not in North America, just a very dry, smoky Australia.
