isn't it amazing the variety that you can come up with in such a restricted area - must have been a FASCINATING (tongue in cheek) meeting!

Those are fabulous and very very australia to me.... they look like some of the digeridoos sticks if that is what you call them. Keep up the great work and have a wonderful time in fuji when you go .... very envious... oh I was wondering if you knew that Dijanne from textile itinerant lives in the geelong area.. you will have to meet up when you go. Ah, but I remember how everyone in our family did doodles while talking on the telephone. Now with all the portable phones, people are DOing rather than doodling while chatting with whomever... Your doodles are exciting to me - I love the organic yet geometric 'feel' of them - and all the promises they hold. Does your work show this same marvelous combination of orgo-geometry?

I remember when we first moved from NZ to Canada - as a 7 year old, I was confused to see Fanny's Fabrics store - when I new perfectly well that we should not be talking about Fannys in public! Sadly, the chain of discount fabric stores just went out of business here, but for a while, you could get things from Fanny's really cheap. Hee hee. Love the doodles. Could you turn them into a small works series? Quilted wall art?
